THE KAMA GOLF MATERIALS GUIDE
WINDSTOPPER®
Keep the breeze out of your game.
On a coastal tee, the wind can change how warm you feel in seconds. WINDSTOPPER protection reduces wind chill while allowing moisture vapour to move through the material.

The membrane forms a windproof barrier inside selected KAMA pieces. That helps retain the warmth of the layers around it without relying on a thick, bulky knit. Breathability matters too: a four-hour round involves plenty of walking between still moments over the ball.
Coverage is specific to the model
WINDSTOPPER appears in beanies, headbands, neckwarmers, face coverings and selected clothing. Some pieces protect an inner headband or front panel; others use more extensive coverage. Read the product details to understand where the membrane sits and which lining or outer material accompanies it.
Choose for the actual forecast
The WINDSTOPPER pieces in our collection are sold for wind protection, rather than full waterproofing. For rain protection in a merino beanie, look at the separate GORE-TEX construction of AG11 and AG12. A windproof membrane near the ears can also make outside sound slightly less clear; that is a useful fit consideration when choosing a style.
Is WINDSTOPPER the same as waterproof GORE-TEX?
No. WINDSTOPPER prioritises wind protection and breathability. For a waterproof knitted beanie in this collection, choose AG11 or AG12 with GORE-TEX construction.
