A FAVOURITE PIECE DESERVES ANOTHER ROUND
Repair where we can.
Keep wearing what you love.
A snag doesn’t always mean the end of a merino hat or layer. KAMA Golf can help you understand the damage and, where suitable, discuss a specialist repair with KAMA’s Prague workshop.
Small fixes at home.
A small snag hole may be closed with fine matching thread if you are comfortable with the technique. Don’t cut a pulled stitch: gently work it back into the knit. Remove surface pilling carefully with a wool comb or suitable fabric shaver.
Ask for specialist advice.
Larger holes, worn patches and damaged seams can need matching yarn or specialist machinery. If the technique is uncertain, stop and send us photographs before trying to repair it yourself.
Know the limits.
Felting or shrinkage after unsuitable washing cannot reliably be reversed. Extensive wear or several damaged areas may make a lasting repair impractical. A photograph helps us give an honest assessment.
START WITH A PHOTO
Let’s look at your KAMA.
- Photograph the piece. Include the whole garment, a close-up of the damage and the care label.
- Contact our Galway team. Tell us the model, what happened and where you’re based.
- Review the options. We’ll confirm whether a workshop assessment is suitable, any repair charge and transport arrangements before anything is sent.
Attach your photos in your mail app and send when ready. Any no-charge minor repair is subject to workshop assessment; shipping and more extensive work are confirmed individually. Please contact us before posting a garment.
