The blend in this collection

The approved Tecnowool products listed here use 40% merino wool, 45% polyester and 15% nylon. Merino contributes natural comfort, while the technical fibres complement the textile’s practical durability and moisture management. The composition is specific to these KAMA pieces.

A different feel from a traditional knit

Look at the A03 beanie, C48 headband, S03 neckwarmer and D23 balaclava. Their lighter, closer-fitting form is useful when you prefer a compact layer. Think about how much coverage you want and whether you tend to run warm while walking.

Match the construction to the day

Tecnowool is a material blend, not a waterproof membrane. For exposed, wet-weather rounds, compare it with the protection specified in the GORE-TEX and WINDSTOPPER products. Wash according to the individual label and allow the piece to dry fully before storing it.

Is Tecnowool pure merino?

No. The Tecnowool pieces in this collection blend 40% merino wool with 45% polyester and 15% nylon. Their composition differs from AG11 and AG12’s 100% merino outer yarn.
