A partnership since 1996

KAMA has used Schoeller as its exclusive yarn supplier since 1996. AG11 and AG12 have a 100% fine merino outer; A196 and selected other styles use an equal merino-and-acrylic blend. The fibre recipe is a useful starting point, followed by the lining, fit and weather membrane.

Chlorine-free EXP processing

Schoeller’s EXP treatment provides a chlorine-free route to washable wool yarn. It works at fibre-processing stage. The care label on the complete beanie still takes priority, especially when a membrane or lining is involved.

Understand the material marks

Selected Schoeller yarns are bluesign APPROVED. Schoeller also describes ORGANICA traceability and other yarn standards. We connect each mark to the specified component rather than applying a blanket claim to an entire garment.
