1. Our approach
We use Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, Level AA as our design and development target. The site includes page headings, labelled form controls, keyboard focus styles, a skip-to-content link and reduced-motion support. Dialogues are intended to keep focus inside while open and return it on closing.
Display and accessibility settings let you choose a light or dark theme, increase text size, reduce motion, strengthen contrast and underline links. Your explicit choices are remembered in this browser and can be reset there.
These measures still need assessment across complete journeys, including mobile use, browser zoom, screen readers and connected account services. Using a recent browser and your normal assistive technology is recommended; no complete browser and assistive-technology compatibility matrix has yet been established.
2. Current limitations
- Visual customiser: a hat-and-crest preview is image based. Its visual embroidery result cannot be fully conveyed by a screen reader. Tell us the model, colour and club name and we can help discuss the design.
- Club artwork and photography: some supplied crests contain detailed or small lettering, which may be difficult to read. Text club names remain available separately.
- External maps and sign-in: OpenStreetMap and identity-provider screens have their own interfaces. Club address text and a separate map link are provided, and email/password sign-in remains an alternative where available.
- Connected checkout: payments are paused while setup is completed. The full payment journey and third-party payment screens require testing before online orders open.
If a control, layout or document prevents you from getting information or using a service, please contact us for assistance. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis to report a problem.
3. Get help or report a barrier
Email info@kamagolf.com or call +353 87 837 6323. If useful, include the page address, what you were trying to do and any browser or assistive technology involved. We can discuss another way to provide product, club or order information.
4. Ongoing review
This statement is based on the current implementation and known limitations, rather than a completed certification or full conformance audit. We will update it as journeys are assessed and issues are resolved. A useful assessment combines automated checks, manual keyboard and assistive-technology testing, and feedback from people who use the site.
The W3C’s guidance on accessibility statements explains the role of a statement and the importance of describing limitations clearly.
