YOUR CLUB, YOUR STORY

A place in County Clare’s golfing landscape.

Kilrush Golf and Sports Club was formed in 1934 through the efforts of Dr Tom Daly, W. O’Grady and J. Francis, with support from local business people. Its foundation was a community undertaking as well as a sporting one.

The club’s own history traces the steps that followed that beginning. The 1934 date marks its formation, and should be kept separate from later changes to facilities or course layout. The direct website and phone details below are the practical starting point for a present-day visit.

Plan your round.

Course Rating and Slope measure difficulty from a specific set of tees; they are separate from course style, tournament history or a golfer’s review score. Where we haven’t verified a current scorecard, we leave those numbers unstated.
