A place in County Wicklow’s golfing landscape.
Rosslare Golf Club was established in 1905. Its early years included financial difficulties and a re-formation as a members’ club, before an eighteen-hole course designed by Hawtree and Taylor opened in 1926.
The setting between the Irish Sea and Wexford Harbour gives the club its coastal identity. Its history is therefore more than a single founding date: ownership, membership and course development all contributed to the place golfers visit today.
